My 2006 journey by car through part of America concludes with the final two chapters of this travelogue. In it we continue to drive along the Appalachian Mountains in Virginia, travel through a little of West Virginia, then head to Pennsylvania, where we stay in a guest house owned by a Pennsylvanian Dutch couple. (The photograph above was taken in Lancaster County, not far from where we were staying.) From here we journeyed through Maryland, stopping in a couple of elegant towns, then finally returned to Virginia for the journey home.
